What’s New?

                 Our Quilters Care efforts have received amazing support.  In September we had our pillowcase collection for www.conkerrcancer.org—A Case for Smiles.  We collected over 1700 pillowcases.  Cindy and Ryan Kerr hold a very special place in our hearts and we wish them all our love.  It was a delight to see Cindy and her family featured on the Martha Stewart Show to receive her Dreamers into Doers Award.  Congratulations Cindy.  Also, many thanks to our friends in Pittsburgh who sent us over 350 pillowcases for the effort.

             In October our efforts were focused on making breast cancer pillowcases for the breast cancer patients at Paoli Hospital.  Again our membership came through with an overwhelming response—over 400 pillowcases were collected. 

             Many thanks must go out to our incredible members who embrace our charitable causes. 

             The Note Cards featuring our Habitat for Humanity Challenge quilts are in!!!  We are already on our second order of note cards and they are going fast.  We have 2 separate collections, each featuring 6 quilts.  A portion of the sales from the note cards will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.  The challenge quilts are currently on their way to Chicago to be exhibited in the Mancuso Quilt Show!  Yea!
